A CHILD IS MISSING (CBS-TVM 10/1/95)

A nine-year-old boy is kidnapped and taken into the Washington State wilderness. He is rescued by a tortured hermit (Henry Winkler), who is haunted by memories of the death of his own son, but the boy is soon snatched away again. While the FBI, the police and the child’s single mother (Roma Downy) try to find the boy, the misunderstood loner uncovers a plot by a local cop who planned the abduction in order to get the ransom money.
