THE PARTRIDGE FAMILY (ABC 1970-74) DAVID CASSIDY/SHIRLEY JONES
Common and get happy and relive the magic of this iconic classic 70s sitcom that follows the lives of a widowed mother and her five children after they make a hit record.
In the pilot episode, the kids – Keith (David Cassidy), Laurie (Susan Dey), Danny (Danny Bonaduce), Chris (Jeremy Gelbwaks - later played by Brian Forster) and Tracy (Suzanne Crough) – get their mother Shirley (Shirley Jones) to help them out by singing with them as they record a pop song in their garage. Little does she know that the efforts of her precocious 10-year-old son Danny (along with sister Tracy in tow) takes the recording and markets it to manager Reuben Kincaid (Dave Madden), who helps make the song a Top 40 hit, launching their musical career and changing their lives forever.
In the final season 4-year-old actor/singer Ricky Segall joined the cast as their next door neighbor Ricky Stevens. Ricky would entertain the Partridges with his songs.
Notable guest stars include Farrah Fawcett, Jaclyn Smith, Cheryl Ladd, Richard Pryor, Mark Hamill, Jodie Foster, Bobby Sherman, Louis Gossett, Jr., Rob Reiner, Meredith Baxter, Charlotte Rae, Nancy Walker, Michael Ontkean, Ray Bolger, Margaret Hamilton, Arte Johnson, Harry Morgan, and Jackie Coogan.

NOTES: This is a fan-made DVD set. Not a studio release. Most pictures are taken from the DVD.
Please note: An unaired pilot, filmed in December 1969, differed from the pilot broadcast in 1970. In this unseen pilot, Shirley's name is "Connie" and she has a boyfriend played by Jones' real-life husband at the time, Jack Cassidy, father of David Cassidy. If anyone has or knows how to get a copy of this rare gem, please get in contact with us. We would love to add this to our Partridge Family catalog.
