Episode 2: The Untouchabless – “The Snowball” (Jan 15, 1963)
Eliot Ness (Robert Stack) faces one of his most dangerous cases yet when he sets out to stop Jack Parker (Robert Redford), an ambitious young hustler eager to earn a place in Frank Nitti’s (Bruce Gordon) mob empire. Parker schemes to prove his worth by cornering the untapped college market, secretly distributing wood alcohol disguised as liquor. When the poison begins killing students, Ness races to shut Parker down before the “snowball” of tragedy grows beyond control. Redford’s gripping turn as the reckless criminal makes this one of the series’ most unforgettable episodes.
