Possessed or blessed? A young woman (Kim Darby) is assigned to teach school in a secluded valley whose inhabitants appear stern, secretive and anti-pleasure.

Following two children who disappear while playing in the woods, she finds that in this valley is an actually community of extraterrestrial beings with mild strange paranormal powers.

These gentle people from another world possess the gift of peace and love, but sadly she leans that they are attempting to repress and deny their heritage for fear of arousing prejudice and hatred in their natural enemy...mankind.
