Step into the golden age of television with Robert Duvall – Volume 2, a specially curated DVD featuring two standout episodes from classic dramatic series that spotlight the early brilliance of Robert Duvall — long before his legendary film career.

Before The Godfather and Apocalypse Now, Duvall was already making a powerful impression on the small screen. This rare collection captures him in two unforgettable performances from iconic 1960s television.

Route 66 - Episode 34: "Bird Cage on My Foot"
Original Air Date: October 13, 1961
The groundbreaking anthology series followed best friends Tod Stiles (Martin Milner) and Buz Murdock (George Maharis) as they crisscrossed America in their sleek Corvette convertible, encountering compelling human dramas along the way.

In Boston, Tod and Buz are paying a visit to a female acquaintance named Charlotte Lee (Diana Millay) when a heroin addict named Arnie (Duvall), tries to steal Tod's Corvette. Tod and Charlotte intervene to try to help Arnie kick the habit, but Buz takes over to help him go through the withdrawl by relying on his own childhood memories of a friend's similar addiction.

Route 66 - Episode 80: "Suppose I Said I Was the Queen of Spain"
Original Air Date: February 8, 1963
An attractive young woman (Lois Nettleton) follows Tod around until the two meet, but she refuses to give her name. Tod calls her Isabel and soon, romance ensues between the two. As a result, Tod finds his credit card missing as he learns that she has made purchases over $9000 with the card. Tod then finds her working at a gospel mission for the homeless and accuses her of stealing his credit card, but she now goes by the name of Susan Ames. She returns her purchases to the credit card company, much to the relief of Tod, who finds her later as a student at UCLA, where she rehearses a play that she wrote.

Robert Duvall – Volume 2 is a must-have for collectors and classic TV enthusiasts alike. Celebrate the early television work of one of Hollywood’s most respected actors in this timeless tribute to his talent, depth, and unforgettable presence.
