One of television's most charming and underrated comedy-mystery series, Tucker's Witch aired on CBS from October 6, 1982, through June 9, 1983. The series stars Tim Matheson as private investigator Rick Tucker and Catherine Hicks as his wife Amanda, a beautiful witch whose psychic abilities prove invaluable—and frequently unpredictable—as the couple solves unusual cases from their detective agency in Laurel Canyon, California.

Blending mystery, romance, comedy, and the supernatural, Tucker's Witch developed a devoted cult following thanks to the chemistry between its leads and its lighthearted, magical storytelling.

The series also stars Bill Morey as Lt. Sean Fisk, Alfre Woodard as Marcia Fulbright, and Barbara Barrie as Ellen Hobbes.

Special guest stars include Ted Danson, Barry Corbin, Simon Oakland, Joe Penny, and Noble Willingham.

This collection includes all 12 broadcast episodes, plus the rare, original unaired pilot filmed in early 1982 under the title The Good Witch of Laurel Canyon. The original pilot starred Art Hindle and Kim Cattrall in the lead roles before CBS elected to recast the series and reshoot the pilot with Tim Matheson and Catherine Hicks. Long unavailable to the public, this fascinating television rarity makes its debut here as a special bonus feature.
