Robert Wagner's follow-up to `Hart to Hart' cast him as the suave jet-setting insurance investigator James Culver who commutes between his London-based job and the Virginia horse farm where he's bringing up his two daughters Elizabeth and Margaret Ann (Samantha Smith, Maia Brewton) with the help of his father Henry Wade Culver (Lew Ayres).

The series also featured Lew Ayres as Wagner’s father Henry Wade Culver, Patrick McNee as Sir Geoffrey Rimbatten, Anne Harvey as Evelyn Camp, John Standing as Edward Wingate and Julie Fulton as Celia Wesphal.

"Lime Street" was struck by tragedy before its debut when Samantha Smith, who played Wagne's eldest child, was killed in a plane crash on August 25, 1985. Although only five episodes had been filmed at the time of her death, her role was never recast.  Her death occurred prior to the airing of any of the programs, the premiere being on September 21, 1985.  Auditions were held instead for a new character, another daughter to Wagner's character, but the notion was entirely dropped. The plan had been for Samantha's character, Elizabeth, to live on off-screen, moving to Paris to be with her divorced mother. The show was subsequently dedicated to Smith's memory.

The series was cancelled before the last three episodes aired.  This three DVD set has all 8 episodes produced.

This series is a Rewatch Classic TV exclusive that you will only find here.
