During the late 1920's and early 30's, the most popular radio program in the United States was "Amos 'n Andy"; many historians contend that it was the most popular show ever broadcast. In the early 1950’s CBS brought these characters to the small screen in a weekly situation comedy.  

This collection of 74 digitally restored episodes on 10 DVDs features the comic adventures of Amos Jones (Alvin Childress) and Andy H. Brown (Spencer Williams Jr.) and their friends George Stevens (Tim Moore), the Kingfish of the Mystic Knights of the Sea lodge; Lightnin' (Nick Stewart), the shiftless handyman; Algonquin J. Calhoun (Johnny Lee), a bogus lawyer, and Sapphire Stevens (Ernestine Wade), Kingfish's wife.

This is the biggest set of Amos 'N Andy shows available and a must have for classic TV fans!
