The Banana Splits Movie is a wickedly entertaining 2019 comedy-horror film directed by Danishka Esterhazy and written by Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas.

A terrifying reimagining of Hanna-Barbera’s classic 1968 children’s television series, the film stars Dani Kind, Steve Lund, Celina Martin, Finlay Wojtak-Hissong, Sara Canning, Romeo Carere and Maria Nash, with Eric Bauza providing the voices of the Banana Splits.

Nine-year-old Harley is thrilled when his mother, Beth, takes him and his family to a live taping of The Banana Splits as a special birthday surprise. What should be a fun-filled day with Fleegle, Bingo, Drooper and Snorky soon becomes a horrifying fight for survival.

When the show’s producer receives unexpected news about the series’ future, the beloved characters go violently haywire—and the body count begins to rise as they unleash a murderous rampage throughout the studio.

Can Harley, his family and their new friends escape before the Banana Splits make them part of the show’s deadly final performance?
