DORIS DAY TODAY (CBS 2/19/75) ‎Doris Day, John Denver, Rich Little, Tim Conway

$ 9.95

Doris Day lights up the screen in her second and final CBS television special, a sparkling showcase of music, comedy and dance featuring John Denver, Tim Conway and Rich Little.

Day and Denver share a humorous duet of “Exactly Like You” and a playful “Sunshine Medley,” before Denver performs his heartfelt “Follow Me,” with Doris adding harmony. Tim Conway joins Doris for comedy sketches, while master impressionist Rich Little salutes her famous leading men, including Cary Grant, Jimmy Stewart, Kirk Douglas, Jack Lemmon and James Cagney.

Celebrating her remarkable film career, Doris performs songs from Love Me or Leave Me, Teacher’s Pet, Young Man with a Horn, Calamity Jane and The Man Who Knew Too Much. She also joins the Lockers dance troupe for a sultry “Midnight at the Oasis,” delivers a soulful “Day by Day” from Godspell, and brings warmth and emotion to “The Way We Were.”
