NUNSENSE 3: THE JAMBOREE (1998) VICKI LAWRENCE

$ 12.95
- +
Picking up where the two previous Nunsense shows left off, Nunsense 3: The Jamboree finds Sister Amnesia (Emmy winner Vicki Lawrence, “The Carol Burnett Show”, “Mama’s Family”) on the road promoting her newly released country album, I Could've Gone to Nashville.

After regaining her memory Sister Amnesia realizes she is Sister Mary Paul, a former country singer. Reverend Mother (Rue McClanahan, The Golden Girls”), feeling that one should not waste God-given talent, gets Sister Mary Paul a recording contract and now she is on a national tour.

She is accompanied by some familiar faces, along with two new characters: Father Virgil Manly Trott (aka Father Hollywood), a radio personality who happens to be Sister Mary Leo's older brother and Sister Mary Wilhelm, the superintendent of nursing at Mount St. Helen's. The big question: will Sister Amnesia be asked to perform at the pinnacle of country music stardom, the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville?

This show is filled with tongue-in-cheek parody, hysterical one-liners, foot-stomping dances, heartfelt ballads, infectious comic tunes and fast-paced comedy. Audiences participate in a rousing "Country Auction" and join in with the cast as everyone sings We Know That Somewhere Up In Heaven You're A Saint, Patsy Cline!

Plus, if that’s not enough to keep you laughing, watch what happens in audience member Thelma Harper (Vicki Lawrence as Mama) becomes part of the show!

Will Sister Amnesia leave the convent for the Grand Ole Op'ry? You'll have to wait till the finale, Do Unto Others to get the answer.
